Set up notifications on mobile

Bankin’ notifies you in real time of the transactions done on your bank account via push notification (if activated) and/or email. This service is free and unlimited.

There are 3 kind of notifications:

  1. Daily notifications: they give your a daily summary of the transactions of the past 24 hours
  2. Balance notifications: they notify you if you cross a threshold set on one or more of your bank accounts
  3. Transaction notifications: These are ideal for monitoring specific transactions such as salary, pension, electricity bill, etc

Create a Balance Notification

  1. Click Menu > Settings > Manage Notifications > Balance Notifications > Add Notification at the bottom of the page
  2. Select the bank account on which you want to enable this notification
  3. Choose whether the notification should notify you of crossing a threshold lower than xx € or higher than xx €
  4. Set an amount and then Save
  5. Check Notifications by email if you also want to receive notifications by email

Notifications are free and unlimited, you can set as many notifications as you like.

NB: Setting a threshold lower than 0€ prevents overdraft, setting a threshold higher than 0€ alerts you as soon as you are no longer overdraft!

Delete a balance Notification

  1. Click Menu > Settings > Manage Notifications > Balance Notifications > Edit at the top of the screen
  2. Click on the red bin

Create a transaction notification

  1. Click Menu > Settings > Manage Notifications > Transaction Notifications > Add Notification at the bottom of the page
  2. Choose whether the notification should notify you of a transaction that has an amount lower than xx € or over xx €
  3. Set the amount and then Save
  4. Check Notifications by email if you also want to receive notifications by email

NB: The notification will apply to all your accounts.

Delete a transaction notification

  1. Click Menu > Settings > Manage Notifications > Balance Notifications > Edit at the top of the screen
  2. Click on the red bin
